(Continued,
From previous page....)
I bought my first big cruiser. I
hadn’t been riding for a while and this bike felt so big and
clumsy, I had to struggle to keep it from tipping over all the
time. If I wanted to make a U-turn, I had to find a six lane
road to do it on. I thought I was doing good cause my friends
needed eight lanes. |
One night, I watched a TV show that depicted motor officers
doing their monthly training. It appeared as if they were
defying gravity. I had no idea you could do those kind of
maneuvers on a motorcycle. I was already a deputy though we
didn’t have a motor squad. I started calling all around the
country trying to find out how I could get motor officer
training. I found that it wasn’t available unless you were
sponsored by a police agency and sent on a police bike.
As luck would have it, a month after I watched that
show, the agency I work for started a motor unit and sent me to
Tallahassee Florida to take motor officer training with the
Florida Highway Patrol. After I finished that very difficult
course, for the first time I really knew how to ride a
motorcycle. I felt that these techniques |

were so important that they needed to be taught to everyone that
rides a motorcycle. I figured the best way to reach people was
to make a step by step instructional DVD which teaches the
police motor officer techniques. I modified the police course
for the average rider, started a citizens class and now
thousands and thousands of people around the world are better,
safer riders because they use the police techniques I teach on
my videos and at my classes.
My simple, easy, step by step approach to teaching the motor
officer techniques are so effective that police agencies all
over the United States now use my videos to teach their motor
officers.
